This Governorreceived an 85% rating from the people of her state because the money she put in their pockets from the 25% kickback deal that she negotiated from BP and the oil that was taken from the oil fields in Alaska. She backed and still favors Rep. Young of Alaska that introduced, and pushed through Congress. When her state received $10 million from the federal government her administration in Alaska kept the money. When asked by the President to give back some of the money to help the victims of Katrina, she said no.
